Beta Rho Charter Members

On June 2, 1973 nineteen educators from Monroe County were initiated into membership of the Delta Gamma Gamma Society International, Michigan State, Beta Rho Chapter. Alpha Chi Chapter of Lenawee County sponsored the founding of this new Chapter.

Service Projects

Beta Rho is responsible for one meal during the summer for Holiday Camp, the local handicapped student’s summer camp.

In the spring of 2024, Beta Rho participated in a sewing project making placemats for shut-ins. 50 placemats were delivered.

In the spring of 2025, Beta Rho will sew pillow cases for homeless children.

Beta Rho Chapter annually donates a sum of money to be determined yearly to both the Community Foundation of Monroe County and the Lenawee Community Foundation, Adrian, MI. for the express purposes of supporting scholarship funds for women educators.
